Another Baby Plan Complete!

I totally cannot believe that this baby plan could be over...Natalie, what will I do without seeing you guys every few months? Who will I give all of my unsolicited advice to? LOL

Just one short year ago, here was Baby Kate's debut at less than 2 weeks old:

I remember warning her how fast the year would go by, and she would be so glad she went with the Baby Plan. I'm even amazed at how fast it went by.

We ended with a bang in the 100 degree TX sun, nothing like it!

More Holiday Info

Well I had a big post planned w/ info on Holiday Mini Sessions, but the emails and calls have been coming in and I now only have 2 spots left!

Again, Holiday Minis are quick 15-30 minute sessions for up to 2 subjects. A "mini" version of a full session, the sessions take place back to back at one outdoor location. Mini Sessions will have 10-15 images to choose from in an online gallery, and discounted packages are available.

Saturday, October 11th 8:30am-12n
Plano, TX (location TBD)
$150 sitting fee, additional subjects are $30 each
Packages begin at $495 and will include Holiday Cards
As with full sessions, there is a $500 minimum order requirement

Please call or email ASAP if you want to book one of the last 2 available spots. Sessions will be booked on a first-come first-serve basis.

With the upcoming season booking at record speed, it is more important than ever to get those retainer payments to us as soon as possible. "Penciled in" bookings will automatically be bumped without warning after 72 hours. Book your session with a Visa or MC to ensure you don't lose your place!

Baby Chloe

Where have I been????


Working like crazy, trying to get caught up, so I can cherish every second with my middle daughter Gabby before she starts KINDERGARTEN in 2 weeks. The thought of it is absolutely breaking my heart, and if I seem a little sad after August 25th, this is likely the reason why.


Anyways, on to a sneak peek that is long overdue of sweet Baby Chloe. Many more sneak peeks to follow as I am once again on my way to being caught up!!

This was Session 2 of Chloe's Baby Plan, and we decided we needed some snuggly shots with Daddy this time. Chloe was more than happy to oblige!

I'm Back!

It has been a crazy week. New York was wonderful, getting back to Dallas was a huge pain, and my family has been having a pretty rough week since then, so I haven't been around the office much. Mikey was sick and had to have bloodwork done (everything came back normal, thank God) , Gabby broke out in purple splotchy hives all over in a matter of 3 minutes, Maddy is well, Maddy, my cel phone was stolen (it's currently turned off in case anyone tries to call it) in Newark airport, etc etc etc. I think at this point I've returned all phone calls and emails and starting to feel semi-normal again so...back to the grindstone!!

Over the next few weeks I am taking less sessions to gear up for this year's holiday season! In the coming posts I'll be sharing this year's Holiday Card designs, more info on Holiday Mini Sessions, and important info about the upcoming season.

There is still weekday availability for the holiday season if you are wanting to book, the sooner the better as I anticipate to be full through November by the end of this month.

Headed to NY

Bye everyone, I'm off to the Big Apple for the weekend (just couldn't stand to be away) and will return on Monday!

4 days, 4 sneak peeks...can you tell I'm over here working my tusch off?

The arrival of this couples' twins happened a little earlier than we all anticipated, and man, what a couple of CUTIES. Of course, they slept through our entire session, but that was because they had been up all night partyin' with mom and dad. I offered to come in the middle of the night with my camera since I seemed to have some sort of hypnotic effect on them.

This isn't helping my baby fever at all...

Hopefully I'll have a couple more sneak peeks tomorrow, and then I am off to NYC for the weekend again!!!! Don't worry, lots of galleries and returned calls/emails before then :) I'm on the VERGE of being caught up!!!

More fun at the beach

This beach shoot was with another photographer who drove all the way from Lousiana for our session, and for a one-on-one Devine U workshop! It was so fun to meet and hang out with these guys!!

I must share some work from before the beach trip, before this newborn is, well, no longer a newborn!!
Faces familiar? That's because this may be my most photographed family ever. Their maternity images are all over my website, and will even be featured in an upcoming issue of The Bump. Big brother's newborn pictures? Made mommy bloggers everywhere weep. We're old pals.
And now---sweet baby Aidan has joined the clan, and another Baby Plan is under way! Big bro was very excited to see me again... And meet baby Aidan!

Beach Sneak Peek #1

Finally, without further ado...

Back- Sort of. Pretend I'm not.

So I'm back from my "break" and feeling yes, a little more rested than last Monday. Thank you to everyone for allowing me the additional time off!!

I know lots of you are anxious for your prints, your emails returned, your phone calls returned, your sessions to be proofed, your orders to be placed, and your sneak peeks to be posted...and I am doing the best I can to catch up. I promise I have not forgotten any of you and am working my way down a very long list, so I definetly appreciate your continued patience!!

Today I am working on returning messages and getting fall sessions booked, and I'll spend the rest of the week catching up on editing sessions and getting orders packaged up and ready to go, etc.

FYI--: only one Saturday left for the entire holiday season. (Sept-Nov) booked! We're currently booking weekdays . The cutoff for sessions with prints needed in time for the holidays is November 1st, after that prints cannot be guaranteed in time for the holidays without a rush fee.

And finally because I haven't posted a picture yet, a couple of my kiddos in Rosemary Beach. No beach pictures because Maddy, my youngest, wouldn't come within 3 feet of the sand the entire trip--she was terrified of it and would scream (ear bleeding shreeks, really) if I tried to put her near it. Oh, well...the joys of vacation with a toddler.

Being that Rosemary Beach was absolutely gorgeous but in no way relaxing or refreshing (see my Twitter updates) I have decided to take today (Monday) to return phone calls and emails, but am taking the rest of the week off completely so I am ready to face the imminent holiday rush. Thank you again for your patience and understanding, and I apologize if you are waiting on proofs or prints.

And once again I bid adieu to you guys out there in blogland, I'll be checking in via Twitter if you want to follow my little work/vacation.

Just a reminder for my clients that I won't be around to check emails or return messages until July 14th, and at that point will be on part-time hours only until the 18th...so basically, I'm gonna be a lil' slow the next few weeks. I'm due, don'tcha think?

So as I pack up a week's worth of stuff for 5 people, all of my photo equipment, and move my mother-in-law in to dogsit Lovey the Epileptic dog, I am waving to all of you and hope to return refreshed and renewed.

Quickie

Few random things--

First of all, I am frantically, frantically, frantically (wow after spelling that three times I don't think it's right) trying to catch up before my vacation, which technically was supposed to start YESTERDAY but looks like won't happen til, oh, I'm on the plane next Tuesday. So here's just a quick check-in with you guys:

-I'm working on a big sneak peek so that everyone who has had a recent session can at least see a little sumthin' before I leave
-I'm currently 7 sessions behind. I know. I don't know how it happens.
-Did you know Aaron Brothers is currently having their Buy One Get one for a Penny sale? I wait all year for that sucker
-Although Destin is a working vacation, after I shoot I am taking the rest of the week off with my family and won't be available through email or phone until the following week.
-I am currently booking for September. I do not have any availability the rest of the summer although a waiting list is available.
-Lots of people asking about workshops-we are working on "mini" parent workshops throughout the year, details to come

I love all of you so much for being so supportive and understanding, and giving me the most succesful year I've ever had so far! Looking forward to the next 6 months!
