Sneak peeks coming out of my ears

Mom and I have been planning this session since, oh, January? It has been a long time coming and I know how excited she is about this sneak peek! Brittin is the owner of Sweet Peaches Interiors, which is an awesome online children's bedding boutique, and I was so excited to work with her extended family and her absolutely adorable kiddos:
With her aunt:
I could have done an entire session just of the sisters, so much fun!
And the entire family:

The session that made me want a fourth child..

...but that idea was quickly shot down by my husband :)
I LOVE big families, especially now that I have a semi-large group myself. I know it's not easy (as of right now, my oldest child has strep and my baby girl has strep and a stomach bug) but I absolutely love the chaos of a large family. I kept telling Mom that but I don't think she believed me as the kids ran around us; but I loved every minute of it. To me the more chaos, the more love and fun and friendship, and that is what life is all about!
Big brother: Big sister:
Precious younger sister:
And baby:
As I mentioned above my kids are very sick and I am unabable to get much work done, but hopefully we are now on the rebound. The doctor yesterday said they had seen a ton of strep and viruses the last two weeks so if your kids are in school, look out!

My life summed up by Excel.

I just had an interesting evening of creating a personal weekly schedule for my kids and I to abide by now that we have three children attending three different schools. I had to laugh when Excel prompted me that my schedule took up 3 pages. Fitting it onto one page meant tiny little letters, that's how jam-packed we are this fall. I'm sure that many of you out there can relate. I feel much more in-control of this chaos when I have things written out and posted somewhere, just the act itself is more important to me than the final product; a confirmation that it "can be done". (I'll let you know!!)
It has been a busy couple of weeks to say the least so I have lots and lots of pictures to share, and I will spread it over a few days so that everyone gets their moment in the spotlight!
First of all, today was my middle daughter's first day of dance class at a real dance studio, and I have to show her off: (By the way, if you have a special event coming up in your child's life, such as the first day of school, a birthday party, or even a dance class/recital, be sure and check out the Personal Paparrazzi package that we now offer.)
Now that I have that proud mommy moment out of the way, check out this incredibly gorgeous couple expecting their first baby, a new addition to my baby planner family!

(one of the images below may be a little risque for some viewers)

2 more sneak peeks tomorrow--Christi, I know you're reading; you're next!

My 100th Post!

Well I've been blogging now for almost a year, and according to Blogger, this makes my 100th time to post in my blog. Woooo hooo!!

To celebrate I thought we'd have a fun little contest. Leave a comment with your guess on how many sessions I have done since last August, and the closest without going over will win a $10 gift certificate to Itunes, or choose a $10 gift card to Starbucks! Keep in mind I was on maternity leave for 6 weeks last year, and sessions with my own kids don't count. Be sure and leave me a way to contact you if you win!

Also don't forget the Reprint Sale is still going on through Saturday, so today and tomorrow are your last chance to save big time on prints from your past sessions!

And finally I have a huge sneak peek for a few patient clients.

First up are the most recent recipients of the Emily Project session! Kenzi was born with cerebral palsy, and her smile literally brought the sunshine from behind the clouds the evening of our session. We drove up to pouring rain and started the session with the most beautiful sunshine we could have asked for. It was a miracle! Thor is Kenzi's protective twin brother: watch out ladies, ok??

Next up are my old friends, who, sadly for me, are ending their baby plan with this session. We first met when Mom, who could have been a professional maternity model and is all over my website, was 7 months pregnant. Now here he is, just over a year old. Every session with him has been so fun and easy and I'm going to miss his sweet little smile every few months!

And last but CERTAINLY not least, the gorgeous one year old who happens to belong to one of my dearest and oldest friends. Joining her already wonderful big sister, I have already warned Dad that he is going to be in BIG TROUBLE someday!!

Sisters

I am at a complete loss for words after proofing some of this session, and I just had to share. These girls travel from out of town every now and then to see me, and everytime I sware they get cuter. And talk about PERSONALITY. I almost couldn't shoot because of my not being able to stop laughing. Mom's got her hands full now---but in just a few months, they will go from a family of 4 to a family of 6 when they welcome twins into their home. I am so excited for them but even MORE excited because I will be in the delivery room to capture the birth!!

It was little sister's turn, but big sister wanted in....and little sis DID NOT LIKE IT!
Really, I wish they would have come out of their shells...so shy. ;-)
Here they are with Mommy-doesn't she look radiant?

PLEASE don't forget to send in your nominations for the Emily project before the month is up!

Melain, are you ready for this??? Ta-da!!! I've got a few more, too! :)

I heart baby feet.
This baby has the most beautiful coloring--look at those blue eyes!

I love twins!!

I recently had the pleasure of meeting the newest additions to a favorite client of mine's family. They went from being a family of 3 to a family of 5 with the arrival of these two lovely-as-can-be twin sisters, who could not be more different! One has brown hair and brown eyes, the other has blonde hair and blue eyes, one is serious and contemplative, the other is happy-go-lucky and smiley...isn't it amazing how at only 5 months old their personalities are so prominent (and different!)

Big brother Jack has grown up in front of my camera and I was excited to see him again. He is still a little charmer, as he was at 5 months!

I took well over 600 shots of this family. Mom was so patient with me :)

Enjoy!
