Ever felt like you needed a vacation from your vacation??
The only shot I've pulled since we've been back...it's almost painful to look at.
I took this shot at Chankanaab, the Quintana Roo state park located in Cozumel. In case you are wondering, I set the camera up on a table behind us, focused on my husband, and used the self timer. I may look relaxed but the truth is that I had just run across the hot sand and plopped into the hot wooden chair a millisecond before the timer went off...but it's an accurate representation of the rest of our vacation. The pineapples are cleverly packaged pina coladas served to us while we listened to mariachis serenade us and declared Cozumel to be Heaven itself. Hopefully more shots to come later.

Great shot! Get creative and create a get away at home. Rearrange furnature and light some candles. Get dressed up. Have fun. YOu desearve it.

Happy 10th! I absolutely love Cozumel. I sure wish my husband could have taken us to Cozumel for our 10th? Maybe if I'd taken up photography at some earlier point in my history? No, it wouldn't have changed anything; he was in Okinawa and I was at home pregnant and with two little munchkins running between my legs. What a bumb deal, eh? One anniversary I'll never forget ;) The photo is one for the keeping! I hope it's posted and placed near your busiest and most relaxed locations.
