Love this Family!

Meet Barron, Savannah, and Blake, who are growing up WAY too fast!
Just a few years ago, Savannah was my baby cover model for Dallas Child Magazine, and now here she is a big sister! Big brother Barron has a little bit of a boo boo but nothing not worth remembering-we worked that awesome blue cast right into the session. Lil' bro Blake was just a tiny newborn the last time I saw him, and I threatened a few times to put him in nothing but a hat and booties just like the last time (he wasn't goin' for it)

And the whole, sweet fam:

Loved this session

In between dog seizures and the normal day to day of having three crazy children, I am hoping to crank out lots of sneak peeks for you guys...stay tuned to see if I can actually do it!

I know I say this every single time (hey can I help if I have the coolest job in the world) but this session was SO much fun! I'd love you to meet my new friends Avery and her lil' sister, Caroline!

How old are you, Avery?
Don't you just LOVE her???

Another Baby Planner turns the big 01

Everytime I start a new Baby Plan I look down at the tiny little newborn and wonder how in the heck time goes by so fast...one minute you are holding this tiny precious baby and shooting their picture while they snooze right through, the next minute they are running after you with a full head of hair and energy coming out of their ears.

So just yesterday our little friend was just this big, and now he's a big flirt who loves to run and hang out with his cool older brother.

Future Lady killer
Love this one

I just got wind of an amazing sale given by my friends over at Sweet Peaches Bedding, and I had to pass this one along to you guys...75% off sale

You're welcome :)

Three's Company

I am definetly of the mindset that three is company as opposed to a crowd...of course I would have 5 or 6 kids if I could but that's beside the point. It's always funny to go into another house with three and see how similar the dynamics are to my own house, no matter what the ages.

First meet big brother, showin' me his GIANT muscles
and middle brother, just as sweet as can beand baby sister who just. wanted. to. nap!!!!!! But we still got the sweetest smilesAnd my favorite image from the whole session, Dad playing his guitar to all three...so peaceful. My Dad used to play guitar to me as a child so this is probably why I love this one so much.Have a great weekend!!

Help Wanted

Well I'm doing the thing I hate the most--asking for more help!

The office is still just way too overwhelming for us around here, and we are looking for an additional person to come in and focus on office work.

The hours would be 1-2x a week through at least January and possibly permanently, usually for 3-4 hours per day on Wednesdays and/or Friday mornings. Applicant must have an outgoing or friendly personality, have basic computer skills (Windows; Photoshop is a plus but we're willing to train), and applicants willing to barter for photo credit will be considered first. Duties include making albums and DVD's, packaging orders, preparing and placing orders, filing, entering invoices and payments in Quicken, running errands, and mailing packages.

This job is perfect for my own clients or moms who want a few hours away from home per week and want to earn photo sessions and photo credit!

I am ALSO seeking a babysitter for my three children this summer, Fridays only, from about 9-2 but hours will vary.

Please call 972-596-5500 or email me at deanna@devine-memories.com if you are interested!

Horsin' Around

Wow that was a bad pun, sorry.
I had the most absolute joy Saturday morning of meeting these two sweethearts and their horses, Red and Lucky. When Mom emailed me and asked if I thought I could take this shoot on, I about jumped out of my seat-the possibilities were completely endless! So we headed out to the stables this weekend and had a great time. I have to say that I was completely impressed with these two girls--how great to be so young and have so much passion for horses. Love it!

Best Lawyer Ever and his adorable family

If anyone out there in blogland is looking for a lawyer, I cannot even tell you how amazing Mr. C is...he has shaped my business up as well as helped some friends through personal stuff--email me if you'd like his info!!

Cuddling in the park

World's sweetest 6 year old!!! I had so much fun!!!!

Big Plans , No Execution

OK so I totally was going to ROCK YOUR WORLD with a slideshow dedicated to mommies, complete with the letters you sent in but...

Hey Deanna? It's your life calling. You have no time for "activities".

So I'm sidelined for now--proofing is kicking my behind as is a little 19 month old named Maddy.

Good intentions, right???!!! :) :) :)

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

(and congratulatons to Stacey S. who will be receiving her $30 Sephora card soon!)

Write a letter

I thought it would be fun to have a little "activity" (can you tell I used to teach preschool)

Write a letter/note to your Mom/Stepmom/Grandmother for Mother's Day, email it to me, and I'll post the best ones on the blog to share.

I'll randomly choose one of the letters to win a $30 gift card to Sephora or Itunes, your pick!

Send 'em in by Thursday night so I can get them up for the weekend!!

It can be sentimental, downright sappy, funny, lighthearted, whatever you want!

Can't wait to see what you guys come up with!

Check out these Little Heiresses

As I mentioned before, Friday's mini-sessions at Little Heiress were one word:

FABULOUS. (as only an heiress could say)

We jam packed these kids into our morning and considering we had about 15 minutes with each one, I think they came out pretty darn well!

(Could you just DIE?)

Thank you SO MUCH to all the little princesses who came out (we had all girls this year!). It was so fun meeting all of you!

And the cuteness continues

You people with your cute babies, you're killing me...

This is why I have such a big family. Just when I think I'm done and bam, one of you shows up with your precious infants and I come home begging my husband for just. one. more!

But alas, I'll always have the Baby Plan.

Hudson is an old friend, although he looks a lot different than the last time I saw him! 6 months old now and just as precious as can be, we had a blast while he was here visiting from Houston!

Little Heiress sessions were a smashing success today, soooo many new faces I was privileged to meet, and some old friends too! Sneak peaks to come!
